USA & USVI Shipping Policy - International Shipping

The following policy is for persons in the
USA, USVI, Caribbean and other Countries.
(Except the BVI)

Shipping Information:

  • Orders being shipped to the USA & USVI are considered international.
  • Orders being shipped by USPS, can take 2-3 business days to process before they are shipped.
  • Orders being shipped by DHL, usually takes 1 business day to process before they are shipped.

Why is USA/USVI international? Because ShelikesBVI.com is in the British Virgin Islands (a country within Caribbean). This is where all orders are currently shipped from. Orders going to any other country, including other Caribbean countries are international.

USA & USVI Delivery Time:

Once shipped, it takes:

  • USPS Priority - 1-3 business days (USA, USVI & US Territories)
  • USPS First Class - 1-3 business days (USA, USVI & US Territories)
  • Flat Rate - 5-7 business days (USA, USVI & US Territories)
  • Free Economy - 7-10 business days (USA, USVI & US Territories)
  • DHL Express - 1 Business day (USA)

  • DHL Express - 3 Business Days (Caribbean Countries)
  • USPS Priority International - 6-10 business days
  • USPS First Class International - 6-20 business days

Shipping Costs:

Shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout. 

    Order Tracking:

    Yes, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track it on the USPS website .

    Package Insurance: 

     USPS PRIORITY MAIL includes up to $100 package value coverage. In the event that your package or contents are damaged or missing, please contact USPS, to inquire of filing a claim.

    (Parcel Ground Select & Free Economy Mail does NOT include insurance)

    DHL Express is not insured, but you can request it in the order notes during checkout, and we will let you know the cost so you can pay for the coverage.

    Late Packages:

     In that unlikely event, please track your package on USPS website to see if there are any delays or actions required of you. If there are delays, please allow additional business days as advised by USPS Customer Service. (missing claims can be filed with USPS after 30 days)
